On behalf of D7620, we have launched a District-wide, thought-leadership initiative called ‘Team Covid-19 Recovery’. The goal of Team Covid-19 Recovery is to help D7620 Rotary Clubs and Rotarians navigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. To accomplish this goal, Team Covid-19 Recovery will be reaching out to all D7620 Rotarians and asking you to complete an online survey so that we understand what is important to you and your Clubs regarding Covid-19 recovery. I will be sending you via email a link to this online survey on Monday, May 4th. We will shut down the survey Thursday, May 7th, at 5 pm so thanks in advance for taking the survey in a timely manner.
Based on your feedback, Team Covid-19 will develop six, Covid-19 “Vision documents” between now and the end of June. The goal of these Vision documents, which will 2-3 pages in length, is to provide guidance to both Clubs and Rotarians on how to deal with key areas of concern such as membership, fundraising, safe social engagement related to the impact of Covid-19, and other.
The six Covid-19 Vision documents will be emailed to all Rotarians and will also be posted on our District website. We will distribute each Covid-19 Vision document on Sunday (i.e., May 17, 24, 31, June 7, 14 21). We will also organize a one-hour webinar the following Wednesday (i.e., May 20, 27, June 3, 10, 17, 24) from 7-8 pm to review the Covid-19 Vision document that was delivered that Sunday. Participants will have time to share their thoughts and ask questions during these webinars. Webinars will be recorded and made available for viewing at future times so, for example, Clubs could use them as ongoing resources throughout the Covid-19 recovery.
